The Saint Frances Cabrini Safety Patrol Unit was established 10 years ago. Two teachers volunteer as coordinators. Students in sixth to eighth grades are eligible to enroll. All students in the unit help with unloading and loading of students during arrival and dismissal from the school. Also, they are in charge of raising and lowering the flag each day.
The Safety Patrol Unit participates in an annual service opportunity, hosting a food booth at the Marine Science Day at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. Students are required to maintain their grades and school conduct to remain a part of the Safety Patrol. They serve as role models for the younger students.
