Students in grades 1-8 take the TerraNova achievement tests during the first week of March. The TerraNova, published by CTB McGraw Hill, tests students’ basic and applied skills in reading, vocabulary, language, spelling, mathematics, science, and social studies. The TerraNova test is the recognized test used by the Diocese of Savannah. The results of the TerraNova show comparisons between our students and other students nationwide using nationally-based standards. The results are used to identify students’ needs and achievements with regard to lesson planning for our teachers.
