Saint Frances Cabrini Council of Catholic Women

The St. Frances Council of Catholic Women is an affiliate of the National Council of Catholic WomenCCW Nativity annual display and the Deanery Council of Catholic Women. Programs respond with gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in our modern world. The Council is open to all women of the Parish over the age of eighteen. The Council at St. Frances Cabrini has engaged in many projects including an annual flea market, an Evening in Italy dinner party, the International food fair, and new this year a German-inspired OctoberFest Food Fair to raise funds. All monies raised are donated to support Parish and Community projects. The Council meets every other month on the first Tuesday and strives to include interesting speakers as part of the business meetings. Other than Parish projects, the Council has donated to Safe Shelter, Second Harvest Food Bank, Camp Villa Marie Scholarships, the Carmelite Sisters and other community projects. Spiritual activities have included Sunday Mass and breakfast, a Sunday Brunch with spiritual speakers, and participation in Lenten Stations of the Cross and Holy Thursday services. The organization provides women of the parish with a great opportunity for fun, service and fellowship.
