Sing with the Choirs at St. Frances Cabrini

The choir members at St. Frances Cabrini invite you to join one of our three musical groups that assist with the liturgy at the masses each week. Note that new members are not required to read music. Come try one of the choirs!

The Contemporary Choir serves primarily at the 5:30 Saturday night Mass. In addition to traditional Catholic hymnody, we also sing Catholic music from current day composers. The keyboard is the lead instrument, but guitars, woodwinds, and percussion also support our voices. We are always looking for more members, both singers and instrumentalists. Join us on Saturday before Mass at 4:30 in the church. We have a hymnal or a music stand waiting just for you!

The Traditional Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning Mass and at other special feast days. While this choir generally focuses on traditional Catholic, church music, they also sing a variety of musical styles. Accompanied by the organ or piano, this choir likes to sing whether they read music or not. Please know that we are always looking for new members, especially sopranos right now. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm and Sunday mornings at 10:15. Jim Anderson is the director. Come join us!
